What’s Your Financial IQ? Learn to Manage Your Money

When the end of the month rolls around, do you look at your account and wish you could have saved more? Do you have a retirement plan or even a savings account? If you lost your job, how long could you survive without a paycheck? Are you searching for a home but don’t know if you can afford it? These questions aren’t the easiest to ask yourself, but they are a good way to start evaluating your finances.

There are many online tools to help you manage your money, but how do you know what kind of help you need if you don’t even know where to start? To evaluate how much you really know about your finances, check out the online Financial IQ Quiz at Bills.com. Once you get to the website select the “Get Started Now for Free” button.

The quiz is going to ask questions about 5 areas of your finances:

  1. Credit
  2. Debt
  3. Budget
  4. Wealth
  5. Life Plan

After you complete the quiz you’ll receive a score out of 100%. After viewing your overall score, you can select “Answers, Tips, & Advice,” and the quiz will go over each of your answers offering advice and information on different aspects of your finances. You can also compare your score to others according to location, gender, age and income level to see how you measure up.

You may learn things you never knew about savings and budgets. Find out what your weakest areas are and use online money managing tools to improve your finances.
